ACAMUG Wi-fi Picnic

Our traditional Summer opportunity to get out of the ACCC classroom and just eat, browse and chat. No specific agenda just bring a covered dish or other suitable munchie (leave a comment on this post so we know who’s bring what), an Airport equipped laptop, iPhone, iPod touch or iPad if you have one and spend the evening chatting and relaxing.

Carolyn has once again volunteered to host the party at her home on the condition that volunteers help with the setup and clean up. Leave a comment if you’re willing to lend a hand with either or both.

Directions will be emailed to members or you can request copy from president or webmaster at acamug.org

Adobe recently released version 10.1 of their Flash player plug-in for web browsers. You can get it here:

In addition to security fixes it also boasts some significant performance improvements for Mac users.

Snow Leopard users: Apple has released the latest bug fix update, version 10.6.4. It is available via Software Update in the Apple menu or grab the combo updater by direct download:

As usual we recommend using Disk Utility’s Verify Disk and Repair Disk permissions before installing the update. Using the Combo Updater may result in fewer problems and feel free to wait a day or two for the dust to settle before applying it.
