Short and sweet. The major new products are:
- New Intel processor based Mac minis that are about 4X faster and include Front Row and the IR remote control. Note: these new minis steal their video memory from the main memory pool which means the default 512MB of RAM is probably not sufficient for typical desktop use, upgrade to 1GB at least.
- A new iPod Hi-Fi Apple branded iPod speaker system that runs off batteries or A.C.
- Leather cases for 5th generation iPods and nanos ($99)
Also, Front Row can now access music, video and photos shared from iTunes and iPhoto on your home network. I just checked Software Update and the new Front Row is not available for my MacBook Pro but hopefully it will be shortly.
So no rumored iTunes Movie Store or “real” iPod video just yet. Maybe on April 1st, Apple’s 30th anniversary?
Let’s get a good discussion going in the comments.

Check this out. If they can do it, why doesn’t Apple do it. That’s my comment. I keep waiting and waiting and waiting.
